Taiyo is Momotaro tomato with a deep yellow to orange colour and high on Cis-Lycopen. The plant has a medium to strong vigour plus a very good balance despite its heavy yield. The flavour is subtle with an Umami taste and sweet hints. The variety produces a compact cluster with 3-5 fruits. The fruit shape is round to flat round and has a bit short erect calyx. The shelf life of the variety is good due to multilocular structure
