Jaleo is a vigorous melon variety that stays healthy throughout cultivation and is ideal for organic growers due to its intermediate resistance to aphids and powdery mildew (Px1,3,5,3.5). It is suitable for greenhouse cultivation only, setting eight to nine fruits per plant. The fruit size is 1.0-1.2 kg, with medium-early ripening maturity, evenly distributed netting, and excellent Brix. Jaleo is highly suitable for export.
