Takii Europe is a subsidiary of Takii & Co., Ltd. in Japan. Headquartered in De Kwakel, The Netherlands, we cover the European, Middle East, African and Central Asia markets of our parent company. Together with Takii France and Takii Spain we manage breeding stations, production sites and sales offices contributing to the supply and promotion of a wide assortment of vegetables and flower varieties to professional growers and to the home garden market. Recruitment for our European sister companies is coordinated from these headquarters.

Takii Spain is a subsidiary of Takii Europe and is situated in three locations: Almeria, Murcia and Castilla La Mancha. Its main activities are sales and breeding.

Account & Trial Manager (this vacancy is filled)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our expanding Sales team in Spain! Our company is growing, and our new colleague will find him/herself equally involved with both sales, development and promotion activities concerning our onion crops activities as with trial activities for other crops such as broccoli, melon, watermelon and cabbage. You will report on both sales and trial developments to the Senior Account & Product manager.

What do we expect from you?

For this position we expect you to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or agronomy and very good knowledge of vegetable cultivation (especially onions), market and product.  We do consider knowledge of our other crops as a plus! You have proven work experience as an account manager and experience in agriculture. You are flexible and social. Furthermore, you are a solid personality with organizational insight, you are analytically strong; driven, process, customer and result oriented. You have good reading, writing and speaking skills in minimal English and excellent knowledge of MS Office.  Some (international) travel is involved. We would prefer you to live in the La Mancha or Murcia area.
