September 9, 2018 is the 21st edition of the Ride for the Roses and will take place in and around the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. This special cycling event has a platoon of 100 km ride and three tours of 25, 50 and 80 kilometres.
The Ride for the Roses is a bike ride in the fight against cancer in which everyone can join in. Each person will be handed a rose at the finish. The rose is a symbol of a tomorrow for everyone. Together with about 10,000 cycling enthusiasts on a sporty, healthy and enjoyable way and at the same time fight against cancer by raising funds for the Dutch Cancer Society.
Takii will also be part of the ride for the roses with 14 sportive participants cycling various distances. They will start the Expo Haarlemmermeer at 9.30 hours.

Op 9 september 2018 is de 21ste editie van de Ride for the Roses, deze editie vindt plaats in en rond de gemeente Haarlemmermeer. Dit bijzondere wielerevenement heeft een pelotonstocht van 100 kilometer en drie toertochten van 25, 50 en 80 kilometer.
Dit evenement is inmiddels een begrip in Nederland. De Ride for the Roses is een fietstocht in de strijd tegen kanker waaraan iedereen kan meedoen en met voor iedere deelnemer aan de finish een roos. De roos staat symbool voor een morgen voor iedereen. Samen met zo’n 10.000 fietsliefhebbers op een sportieve, gezonde en plezierige manier bezig zijn en tegelijkertijd strijden tegen kanker door geld in te zamelen voor KWF Kankerbestrijding.
Ook Takii Europe doet mee met 14 deelnemers aan de diverse toertochten.
De locatie voor start om 9.30 uur en finish ca. 16.00 uur is Expo Haarlemmermeer in Vijfhuizen.
